GENERAL SPECS
- Heartwood and sap-wood are light brown yellowish density and thick textures are two important specs
- Mild shine

NATURAL DURABILITY
High wood resistance regarding xylophagous , average life spend more then 12 years. Not indicated in marine environment.
WORKABILITY
Cumaru is resistant and offers a great finish around the edges. Not recommended for planing due to unsatisfactory finishing. This wood is oily and therefore not suitable for gluing.
Obtains a good finish when varnished.
APPLICATION
External: In site buildings, beams, props and scaffoldings.
Internal: miters, shutters and sashes , baseboard and trimmings.
Another Applications: Supporting beams for roofs, etc.
